NY Times Says FBI Hatched US Terrorist Plots, Not Real Terrorists

David K. Shipler wrote a great opinion piece in the April 28, 2012 edition of the New York Times. It was entitled Terrorist Plots, Hatched by the F.B.I.. I am going to quote two paragraphs from that piece so you can get an idea of what he wrote:

THE United States has been narrowly saved from lethal terrorist plots in recent years — or so it has seemed. A would-be suicide bomber was intercepted on his way to the Capitol; a scheme to bomb synagogues and shoot Stinger missiles at military aircraft was developed by men in Newburgh, N.Y.; and a fanciful idea to fly explosive-laden model planes into the Pentagon and the Capitol was hatched in Massachusetts.

But all these dramas were facilitated by the F.B.I., whose undercover agents and informers posed as terrorists offering a dummy missile, fake C-4 explosives, a disarmed suicide vest and rudimentary training. Suspects naïvely played their parts until they were arrested.

After reading this, I was very happy. Finally, we have someone in the national media who can see clearly what is going on. The War on Terror is a joke. Even the Obama administration recently announced that the “War on Terror” is over. If that’s the case, then what was the reason for the Department of Homeland Security’s recent purchases?

You may not be aware, but the Department of Homeland security recently bought 350 million rounds of ammunition along with a large number of bulletproof checkpoints. Why did they do that if the “War on Terror” is over? The reason is because DHS has turned its mission from international terrorism to one of monitoring “domestic terrorism” here at home. And that means you and me.

Look at the signs:

  1. Threat Fusion Centers have been built and scattered across the country.
  2. DHS has bought millions of rounds of ammo and bulletproof checkpoints.
  3. Surveillance cameras are everywhere.
  4. The police have gotten more militarized and are now using equipment inside the U.S. that was once reserved just for military use in other countries.
  5. Drones are now being launched from over sixty locations across the U.S.
  6. If you decide to fly somewhere, you’re going to have to go through a scanner or be groped at the airport. Maybe both. Grandmas and small children are not exempt. Neither are U.S Congressman, Senators, paraplegics or invalids

Wake up America! Your freedoms have almost vanished. Enjoy what freedom you have left. And enjoy the internet while you still have it. They’re coming after it as we speak.

Ardent Sentry 2012: Martial Law Exercise between U.S. and Canada

Ardent Sentry 2012

On April 24, NORTHCOM announced Ardent Sentry 2012, billed as a “major exercise focused on Defense Support of Civil Authorities.” It will be held on May 2 – 9, 2012.

Ardent Sentry will consist of command post and field training exercises to be held in North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Alaska, Connecticut and Nova Scotia. These exercises will include both United States and Canadian military units.

Ardent Sentry 2012 “will validate existing plans, policies, and procedures, including the Federal Inter-agency Response Plan, as well as state and regional plans,” according to NORTHCOM.

NORTHCOM describes the exercises as follows:

In North Dakota, the Air Force Global Strike Command will respond to a simulated Nuclear Weapons Incident on Minot Air Force Base.

The Oregon National Guard will work with state and local officials in response to weather-related and security events while in Texas the U.S. Army North will deploy a task force to work through the process of leading a military response to a major hurricane.

Joint Task Force-Alaska will conduct a coordinated response to a major aircraft crash in a remote area.

In Nova Scotia, Canada, U.S. and Canadian forces will cooperate jointly on a security related event.

As is usually the case with internationalist military developments, the plan was virtually ignored by the establishment media, although it was covered briefly by the media in Canada.

Ardent Sentry exercises are designed to further erode Posse Comitatus in the United States under the guise of “emergency preparedness” and establish a functional military infrastructure between the U.S. and Canada that may be used in the event of a declaration of martial law.

Surveillance Drones Coming Soon to Your Neighborhood

Following a landmark Freedom of Information lawsuit, the FAA was forced to reveal 63 drone launch sites across the U.S. That’s right. Unmanned spy planes are being launched from locations in 20 states and their owners include the military and universities.

The unmanned drones, some of which may have been designed to kill terror suspects, are being launched from locations in 20 states.

Most of the active drones are deployed from military installations, enforcement agencies and border patrol teams, according to the FAA. But amazingly, 19 universities and colleges are also registered as owners of what are officially known as unmanned aerial vehicles.

There are also 21 mainstream manufacturers, such as General Atomics, who are registered to use drones domestically.

As well as active locations, the FAA also revealed 16 sites where licenses to use spy planes have expired and four where authorizations have been disapproved. But, the FAA has not revealed what kinds of drones might be based at any of these locations. The agency says it will release this data later.

Congress recently passed legislation paving the way for what the FAA predicts will be somewhere in the region of 30,000 drones in operation in US skies by 2020.

Once signed by president Obama, the FAA Reauthorization Act allows for the FAA to permit the use of drones and develop regulations for testing and licensing by 2015.

“Many drones are designed to carry surveillance equipment, including video cameras, infrared thermal imagers, radar and wireless network ‘sniffers,’ ” a Congressman wrote.

The representative also added that the FAA has “the responsibility to ensure that the privacy of individuals is protected and that the public is fully informed about who is using drones in public airspace and why.”

While the use of drones in the U.S. is little known, American operations overseas have been well documented. As well as high-profile terrorists, campaigners claim hundreds of innocent civilians have been killed in the border regions of Pakistan, where they are most active.

Of course you may be saying this is all okay with you, “just as long as we’re safe.” Personally, I’m sick and tired of hearing that. But, plenty of people are still saying it.

Whatever you think, please don’t be naive enough to think that these are only going to be used on criminals. If you think they will never be used to spy on law-abiding Americans, you need to wake up.

Senator Warned in ’75 that NSA Could Be Turned on American People

Back In 1975, Senator Frank Church, who famously chaired the “Church Committee” into the unlawful FBI Cointel program, and who also chaired the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said this:

“The National Security Agency’s capability at any time could be turned around on the American people, and no American would have any privacy left, such is the capability to monitor everything: telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn’t matter. There would be no place to hide. If a dictator ever took over, the N.S.A., it could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back.”

If you don’t know it yet, the NSA (National Security Agency) is building a $2 billion dollar facility in Utah which will use the world’s most powerful supercomputer to monitor virtually all phone calls, emails, internet usage, purchases and rentals, break all encryption, and then store everyone’s data permanently.

Startingly enough, the former head of the program for the NSA recently held his thumb and forefinger very close together and said:

We are, like, that far from a turnkey totalitarian state

While you might assume that the NSA’s spying on Americans is a response to 9/11, the government’s illegal spying on Americans actually began before 9/11.

The U.S. National Security Agency asked AT&T Inc. to help it set up a domestic call monitoring site seven months before the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, lawyers claimed June 23 in court papers filed in New York federal court.

In other words, the NSA’s trashing of the constitutional rights of American citizens had nothing to do with 9/11.

Just remember this as we continue to lose our rights as each day passes.

Expert Warns 100% Certainty of Power Grid Failure Within 3 Years

100% Certainty of Electrical Power Grid Failure Within Three Years

Many people are asking whether smart grid metering systems are a good idea. Electrical officials promise that they will save energy and reduce end-user utility costs, but do the risks outweigh the benefits?

In an interview for an upcoming documentary entitled, Take Back Your Power, cyber defense expert David Chalk warns that our nation is in crisis. Not only are our smart power grids susceptible to hacking, but they may very well already be infected with Trojan viruses and back doors that will ultimately lead to disastrous consequences. He put’s it this way,

“The front door is open and there is no lock to be had. There is not a power meter or device on the grid that is protected from hacking – if not already infected – with some sort of trojan horse that can cause the grid to be shut down or completely annihilated.”

When we say ‘it goes down,’ we’re talking about generators burning out, coal plants being damaged, destruction of equipment. This isn’t just a matter of electrons going around and shutting off the moving data. Physical equipment can be damaged. Watch some of the videos of cyber attacks on generators and other devices. You’ll see they’re actually damaged. Multi-million dollar machines are hacked into.

Undoubtedly, Chalk’s most startling statement is this,

“Bring forward a technology and I will show you that it’s penetrable. I’ll do it on national TV, I’ll do it anywhere. I can guarantee you 100% that there is nothing out there today – nothing – that can’t be penetrated.”

Here is an excerpt from the upcoming documentary:

How do we solve this problem? One option is that we take individual Americans off the traditional grid by empowering them through tax credits and deregulation, so that every one of us can have their own personal smart grid in their home, independent of intervention from government or traditional energy industry players.

However, like all things government, the narrative seems to be to first create the problem, then move to fix it by more centralization, control and dependence. It’s a trend we see not just in our energy sector, but every aspect of our lives.
