FEMA is looking for contractors to construct temporary emergency camps inside the United States which can be ready for occupancy within a 72 hour time frame. They will be used to house emergency responders as well as “displaced citizens”.

The National Responder Support Camp contract, posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website, calls for contractors to:

“provide all necessary supervision, professional staff, labor support, material, supplies and equipment as necessary to make a RSC within a disaster-impacted area anywhere within the CONUS (Continental United States) within 72 hours after notification.”

The camps are primarily designed to house emergency responders, but will also be utilized to shelter “displaced citizens,” who will be “given the first opportunities for employment within the camp,” according to the solicitation. The camps will be able to service up to 2,000 people at one time.

The 72-hour camps are designed to deal with natural disasters, terrorist attacks, National Response Framework activities of federal agencies, National Special Security Events, “or any other situation where FEMA or an agency working through FEMA needs a RSC.”

The 72-hour camps will be secured with fencing and barricades and will also serve to create areas that are “off limits” to certain occupants. Entry into the camp will be controlled through a photo ID system for all occupants and visitors.

Medical treatment facilities, dining facilities, mobile showers and “morale welfare and recreation” facilities are all required as part of the contract.

FEMA’s latest efforts to satisfy the demand for emergency camps represents a continuation of preparations on behalf of the federal government to prepare for civil emergencies and potential social disorder.

In December, Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano directed ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to prepare for a mass influx of immigrants into the U.S. She called for the plan to deal with the “shelter” and “processing” of large numbers of people.

A provision within the National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law by President Obama on New Years Eve, handed the government the power to have American citizens arrested and detained without trial. However in the past week, Obama has signed a Presidential Directive that exempts U.S. citizens from being held indefinitely.

This begs the question. If American citizens are exempted, then why are the camps being built? Oh right. It’s for the first responders.

No, not their state’s collapse. Wyoming is worried about the collapse of the federal government.

Lawmakers in Wyoming have introduced a bill that would compel the state to prepare for a complete collapse of the federal government. This includes laying plans for an alternate currency, a standing army raised via a military draft, and even an aircraft carrier.

The Wyoming Star-Tribune is reporting:

“House Bill 85 passed on first reading by a voice vote. It would create a state-run government continuity task force, which would study and prepare Wyoming for potential catastrophes, from disruptions in food and energy supplies to a complete meltdown of the federal government,”

Compared to the rest of the country, Wyoming’s public finances are in good condition. That is precisely why lawmakers want to protect the state against contagion from other areas that could develop in the aftermath of a massive financial collapse.

The bill before the state legislature lays the groundwork for how the state would respond in the event of a sudden devaluation of the dollar or “a situation in which the federal government has no effective power or authority over the people of the United States”.

“I don’t think there’s anyone in this room today what would come up here and say that this country is in good shape, that the world is stable and in good shape — because that is clearly not the case,” state Representative Lorraine Quarberg said. “To put your head in the sand and think that nothing bad’s going to happen, and that we have no obligation to the citizens of the state of Wyoming to at least have the discussion, is not healthy.”

While authorities at both the state and federal level are making preparations for social dislocation, with FEMA recently ordering $1 billion dollars worth of dehydrated food, a total of 420 million meals, Americans who buy food supplies in bulk are being characterized as potential terrorists by the FBI.

Continuity of government plans implemented at the federal level are so sensitive that when the plan was last updated in 2007, Congressman Peter DeFazio was barred from seeing the details despite being a sitting member of the House Homeland Security Committee.

Peter DeFazio (D – OR) was asked by his constituents to see what was contained within the classified portion of the White House’s plan for operating the government after a catastrophic terrorist attack, but was denied access, leading him to comment, “Maybe the people who think there’s a conspiracy out there are right.”

A USA Today article published yesterday quoted three separate financial experts who all concur that the worst of the financial turmoil is yet to come. Even trends forecaster Gerald Celente is warning of an “economic 9/11″ that will provoke mass civil unrest fueled by anti-government sentiment.

U.S. President Barrack Obama has blamed rising oil prices on tensions with Iran, as America is hit with high gas prices and the government is forced to use its reserves.

Obama made the anti-Iran comments in response to Republican criticism of his energy policies, adding that demand from China, India and other emerging economies, as well as Wall Street speculation, has contributed to soaring prices at the pump.

While an attack on Iran or a closing of the Strait of Hormuz would send oil prices through the roof, world tensions are not always to blame.

The U.S. Dollar is being devalued. Its value is going down. Don’t believe me? Just look at the value of the Dollar today compared to what it was 10 years ago. You’ll be shocked.

Because the U.S. Dollar is going down, the oil companies are adjusting the prices at the pump. They just react faster than other U.S. businesses like grocery store chains and retailers. The oil companies have to charge more for gas because the U.S. Dollar is worth less. And those oil companies like getting paid.

That’s my assessment of the situation. How does this affect you? Well, rising fuel costs will increase the cost of food. That’s just the way it is.

Because later you will be paying a lot more for it.

There are a growing number of Americans who are preparing. These people are the aware and prepared. They understand just how out of control things could become. Those who have acquired the skills for survival stand the best chance of navigating through the chaos safely.

The preppers are an ever-growing group of survivalists who take extreme measures to prepare for a major catastrophic event.

We will see panic from the remaining 99% of Americans who have failed to take measures to protect themselves from the coming devastation.

To be fair, the bulk of the flyer is directed to users’ activities on computers while in the internet cafe. Suspicious activities include:

• Always pay cash or use credit card(s) in different names.
• Evidence of a residential based internet provider (signs on to Comcast, AOL, etc.)
• Use of anonymizers, portals, or other means to shield IP address.
• Are overly concerned about privacy, attempts to shield the screen from view of others.

I wouldn’t let the flyer discourage you from paying with cash at the local coffee shop. I mean, who wants to whip out a credit card for a cup of coffee.

Recently, there were reports of the Feds going to Mormon canneries and demanding lists of customers who purchased bulk food items. However, the naysayers came out and said it wasn’t true. Well, there can be no longer be any doubt about this.

Are you aware that during the past year, there have been multiple confirmed reports of FEMA purchasing a billion dollars worth of emergency food, including freeze dried food, dehydrated food and yes, MREs?

Please don’t let this discourage you from purchasing an emergency food supply. On their preparedness websites, both Homeland Security and FEMA recommend that people have emergency food on hand in case of a disaster. We all know that in a major catastrophe, the government won’t be able to help everyone. That fact was made clear after Hurricane Katrina. By having emergency food on hand, people are just following FEMA’s and Homeland Security’s advice.

My problem is that they are not consistent in their position. The Feds should be consistent across all their websites. It’s confusing.

The world economy is on the brink of a crisis that will probably end modern civilization as we know it.

What most people don’t understand is that there has never been a time in history where the world banks and corporations have stolen so much. People talk about the robber barrons of the 1800s and say it was just the same back them. Oh, really.

World banks are bringing the world to its knees. They created the huge derivatives market knowing that at some future time they could pop the bubble and gobble up nation states. Get a nation in a vulnerable position and when they are begging for help, come and and take over everything.

Banks (IMF) demand that a nation raids its pension funds and payouts, cut entitlements, and force austerity measures on the people. Of course, they also take control of the nation’s natural resources. These world banks know exactly what they are doing. And they know people will riot. So, they put police states to control the people.

While the media continues to lie and say everything is getting better, things are actually getting worse. The more control given to the banks, the worse it gets. That’s why nations are going to collapse left and right.

Global poverty and unemployment rates have risen to levels that are socially and economically unmanageable under the current global financial, political, and bureaucratic system which favors the few at the expense of the many.

It is fitting that the collapse of Western Civilization is beginning in its ancient cradle, Greece. This great nation has fallen to the banksters who are behind the despotic new world order.

Some sources are expecting a structured default to take place in Greece around March 20. Incredibly, some people believe a Greek default and a collapsing global economy is a good and beneficial development for the planet.

The banksters don’t mind seeing nations like Greece go under. They justify their economic warfare and financial looting by saying the destruction of national economies is done for the sake of the environment. But the real reason for bankrupting nations such as Greece and America is to consolidate political power and create a global authoritarian police state.

Nations that aren’t already in the Banksters’ sphere of political and economic influence are overthrown and bombed. Libya is a good example. In addition, nations like America are pillaged and burned to the point of collapse.

If you see clearly, you see that this worldwide collapse has been engineered by those who wish to abolish nation states and create a totalitarian, dictatorial world government.
