There are a growing number of Americans who are preparing. These people are the aware and prepared. They understand just how out of control things could become. Those who have acquired the skills for survival stand the best chance of navigating through the chaos safely.

But as a whole, Americans are not prepared. Not by a long shot.

As natural disasters around the world take the lives of hundreds of thousands, space agencies are warning of solar disruptions that threaten the electrical power grid. In addition, in recent years, we have slid into depression, and more people have began to realize that the stability we have depended on to live our daily lives is nothing but an illusion.

With very few places to turn for support, most have headed for the internet, where communities have popped up to discuss possible disaster and collapse scenarios, and ways to minimize the impact on themselves and their families.

The question now is how to survive when it finally comes to pass.

With none of us ever having experienced (or even imagined) such a possibility before, many have turned to guidance from experts in their fields – people like Gerald Celente or Marc ‘Dr. Doom’ Faber, who had an uncanny ability to see developing trends, and authors like survival expert James Rawles who wrote the popular economic collapse and survival cult classic Patriots and William Forstchen who penned One Second After, a frighteningly realistic look at what life without the grid might look like.

First it was thousands, then tens of thousands of concerned Americans who began learning the essentials of survival by learning from each other with resources offered online.

Those who chose to insulate themselves against coming disaster were often vilified or dismissed as lunatics by friends and family alike. And while many chose to ignore the trend, which had become quite apparent, those who had the willingness to consider a different reality just kept on preppin’.

As global apathy has continued and people are continuing to lose confidence in political platitudes and corporatist solutions, the movement towards preparedness, survival and self reliance has grown. After having seen what took place in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, many have come to the conclusion that if the worst were to happen there would be no government to help, no 9-1-1 to call, and no emergency management agency to distribute food or water. People are starting to get that they will be on their own.

Today, at the cusp of the most trying times in human history, more Americans than ever before are preparing for the possibility of disaster. As many as three million Americans now fall into the category dubbed as preppers – people who are making detailed plans for the end of the world as we know it. The preppers are an ever-growing group of survivalists who take extreme measures to prepare for a major catastrophic event.

When it hits the fan,

We will see panic from the remaining 99% of Americans who have failed to take measures to protect themselves from the coming devastation.

Do yourself a favor. Continue to educate yourself and make preparations for your family.

The FBI has been sending flyers to various types of businesses to be on the lookout for suspicious activity that might be terrorist.

Under the heading of “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up”, we have a flyer that is going out to internet cafes. For example, you might be a terrorist if you always pay cash. Gee, if I pay cash for a $2.00 cup of coffee I might be a terrorist.

To be fair, the bulk of the flyer is directed to users’ activities on computers while in the internet cafe. Suspicious activities include:

• Always pay cash or use credit card(s) in different names.
• Evidence of a residential based internet provider (signs on to Comcast, AOL, etc.)
• Use of anonymizers, portals, or other means to shield IP address.
• Are overly concerned about privacy, attempts to shield the screen from view of others.

I have circled two items in red. As you can see, if you pay with cash or you have a residential-based internet provider like Comcast or AOL, you might be a terrorist.

I wouldn’t let the flyer discourage you from paying with cash at the local coffee shop. I mean, who wants to whip out a credit card for a cup of coffee.

• Bi-pods or tri-pods for rifles

Recently, there were reports of the Feds going to Mormon canneries and demanding lists of customers who purchased bulk food items. However, the naysayers came out and said it wasn’t true. Well, there can be no longer be any doubt about this.

Are you aware that during the past year, there have been multiple confirmed reports of FEMA purchasing a billion dollars worth of emergency food, including freeze dried food, dehydrated food and yes, MREs?

Please don’t let this discourage you from purchasing an emergency food supply. On their preparedness websites, both Homeland Security and FEMA recommend that people have emergency food on hand in case of a disaster. We all know that in a major catastrophe, the government won’t be able to help everyone. That fact was made clear after Hurricane Katrina. By having emergency food on hand, people are just following FEMA’s and Homeland Security’s advice.

My problem is that they are not consistent in their position. The Feds should be consistent across all their websites. It’s confusing.

The world economy is on the brink of a crisis that will probably end modern civilization as we know it.

What most people don’t understand is that there has never been a time in history where the world banks and corporations have stolen so much. People talk about the robber barrons of the 1800s and say it was just the same back them. Oh, really.

World banks are bringing the world to its knees. They created the huge derivatives market knowing that at some future time they could pop the bubble and gobble up nation states. Get a nation in a vulnerable position and when they are begging for help, come and and take over everything.

Banks (IMF) demand that a nation raids its pension funds and payouts, cut entitlements, and force austerity measures on the people. Of course, they also take control of the nation’s natural resources. These world banks know exactly what they are doing. And they know people will riot. So, they put police states to control the people.

While the media continues to lie and say everything is getting better, things are actually getting worse. The more control given to the banks, the worse it gets. That’s why nations are going to collapse left and right.

Global poverty and unemployment rates have risen to levels that are socially and economically unmanageable under the current global financial, political, and bureaucratic system which favors the few at the expense of the many.

It is fitting that the collapse of Western Civilization is beginning in its ancient cradle, Greece. This great nation has fallen to the banksters who are behind the despotic new world order.

Some sources are expecting a structured default to take place in Greece around March 20. Incredibly, some people believe a Greek default and a collapsing global economy is a good and beneficial development for the planet.

The banksters don’t mind seeing nations like Greece go under. They justify their economic warfare and financial looting by saying the destruction of national economies is done for the sake of the environment. But the real reason for bankrupting nations such as Greece and America is to consolidate political power and create a global authoritarian police state.

Nations that aren’t already in the Banksters’ sphere of political and economic influence are overthrown and bombed. Libya is a good example. In addition, nations like America are pillaged and burned to the point of collapse.

If you see clearly, you see that this worldwide collapse has been engineered by those who wish to abolish nation states and create a totalitarian, dictatorial world government.

Make preparations for your family while you still have time.

Bill Gates is a large investor in Monsanto. He purchased 500,000 shares of the biotech giant in 2010 because he feels Monsanto’s genetically modified foods are a tool that will help prevent starvation in poor nations. The same poor nations where thousands of farmers routinely commit suicide after being completely bankrupted by Monsanto’s overpriced and ineffective GM seeds. The same company that we recently exposed to be running ‘slave-like’ working conditions, forcing poor workers to operate the corn fields for 14 hours per day while withholding pay.

According to Gates, this is the company whose GMO crops are going to save the world from starvation. Of course, along with saving the world from starvation, GMO crops also bring along a large number of unwanted health and environmental effects. A review of 19 studies examining the safety of GMO crops found that consumption of GMO corn or soybeans can lead to significant organ disruptions in rats and mice – particularly in the liver and kidneys.

Genetically-Modified Corn

In 2008, a startling report uncovered Monsanto’s blatant abuse of poor farmers in very poor countries that would supposedly benefit from GMO crops. Thanks to an article in the Daily Mail, it was revealed that thousands of farmers were committing suicide after using Monsanto’s GM seeds. Due to failing harvests and drastically inflated prices, the bankrupt poor farmers began taking their lives — oftentimes drinking the very same chemical concoctions provided by Monsanto as a method of suicide.

“We are ruined now,” said the dead man’s 38-year-old wife. “We bought 100 grams of BT Cotton. Our crop failed twice. My husband had become depressed. He went out to his field, lay down in the cotton and swallowed insecticide.”

Actually, Monsanto conned the farmers into buying their GM seeds. These seeds were majorly overpriced and performed far worse than traditional seeds. Monsanto even went as far as to charge these poor farmers £10 for 100 grams of GM seed, while they could have purchased 1,000 times more traditional seeds for the same amount. The result? A career-ending harvest that led to mass farmer suicide.

I bring this to your attention to remind you that we all need to be vigilant. At this point in time, we still have a choice. However, more and more, GMO foods are showing up in the supermarket. If we allow this trend to continue, the health of our nation will be ruined.

The U.S. government is stockpiling huge amounts of food and supplies in anticipation of something bad happening. Most probably officials are expecting a major economic crisis soon that will require large quantities of emergency food.

For a while, we have been hearing about the government storing emergency food. Many different prominent people in the long term storable food industry have revealed they have received huge orders for storable food from various U.S. government agencies. When government representatives were asked why so much food was being ordered, government sources have only said, “you know what is coming”, but did not elaborate further.





It is unclear if this is part of a larger food stockpiling program by the government. Non one could blame the government for storing emergency food. That is something that we all should be doing.

Actually, the government is taking emergency preparedness very seriously these days. For example, you can see video of a high-level NASA official urging NASA employees to develop preparedness plans for their own families.

But what if this is a sign of something bigger?

Early last year, FEMA issued an RFI (Request For Information) that inquired about the availability of 140 million meals of emergency food. Here is the RFI:


The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) procures and stores pre-packaged commercial meals to support readiness capability for immediate distribution to disaster survivors routinely. The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify sources of supply for meals in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations. FEMA is considering the following specifications (14M meals per day):

• Serving Size: 12 ounce (entree not to exceed 480 calorie count)
• Maximum calories: 1200 and/or 1165 per meal
• Protein parameters: 29g-37g kit
• Trans Fat: 0
• Saturated Fat: 13 grams (9 calories per gram)
• Total Fat: 47 grams (less than 10% calories)
• Maximum sodium: 800-930 mg

Requested Menus to include snacks (i.e. fruit mix, candy, chocolate/peanut butter squeezers, drink mix, condiments, and utensils). All meals/kits must have 36 months of remaining shelf life upon delivery. Packaging should be environmentally friendly.


What’s interesting is that 7 days after this particular RFI was issued, it was rescinded. However, this doesn’t mean they have stopped buying. It just means they have scrapped this RFI. Multiple reports have shown the Feds are still actively buying up emergency food, both freeze-dried food and dehydrated food.

While contemplating making your own preparations, just ask yourself why the US government would be doing it on such a large scale.

Almost everyday, we are told the economy is getting better. I suppose if they say it enough times, that makes it so.

Here are some economic numbers that are rather frightening. These are exactly why several top economists are predicting wide-spread civil unrest in the US very soon.

1. If the number of Americans that “wanted jobs” was the same today as it was back in 2007, the “official” unemployment rate put out by the U.S. government would be up to 11 percent.
2. A staggering 48 percent of all Americans are either considered to be “low income” or are living in poverty.
3. Approximately 57 percent of all children in the United States are living in homes that are either considered to be “low income” or impoverished.
4. There are fewer payroll jobs in the United States today than there were back in 2000 even though we have added 30 million extra people to the population since then
5. Since December 2007, median household income in the United States has declined by a total of 6.8% once you account for inflation.
6. The average amount of time that a worker stays unemployed in the United States is now over 40 weeks.
7. One recent survey found that 77 percent of all U.S. small businesses do not plan to hire any more workers.
